"Since I started working with Michele, I have seen a lot of difference in my tennis game. I have more energy. React and move faster. I’m not afraid of drop shots anymore, or lobs! I’m hitting the ball much harder. I’ve got strength that I didn’t have before. And most of my tennis skirts are kinda loose. Is the elastic giving out? Maybe not because my jeans are feeling a little baggy in the butt too. In addition, I used to struggle to carry 25 lbs buckets of pool chemicals with 2 arms. I had to rest on the way down from my car. Now? A 25 lbs bucket in each hand straight down to the pool. I get more done and I don’t get as tired because everything requires less effort. I wanted you to know how much your classes have helped me. Besides improved mobility and strength, I feel like I have the confidence to do everyday things I would have previously chosen not to attempt. We're having renovations done at our house. Normally, I would have left certain things to Justin, but he is biking in Switzerland. I had to clear off our back porch of heavy furniture, no problem! I had to empty our attic for spray foaming, no problem! The bonus, I feel stronger and faster on the tennis court. Your classes are always challenging and a great workout. After every class, my body is literally humming.

"I started working out with Michele about a year ago, having been a very inconsistent exerciser. This is the first time in many years that I've stuck with it due to Michele's challenging exercises and clear, supportive teaching. It feels like you have your own personal trainer! She demonstrates how each exercise should be done properly, but also how not to do it, which helps you to be more aware of your form in order to get the most out of each exercise, and prevent injuries. One of the many things I like about Michèle’s workouts is the opportunity to make a short term commitment.  When I commit to one month of workouts, I set my schedule around them and easily keep to the commitment. Plus, I don’t have to leave home to take the classes, making it easier to be on time! When I used to work out by myself, I had to count on my own motivation every single time. When I was younger, that was easy, not so much now. Committing to workout with Michèle means I just have to show up. She gets us all motivated to do our best even on days when I’d rather stay in bed!

"Michèle is a wonderful, motivating, kind teacher with a lot of knowledge about the human body, how it moves, and how to keep moving it in a healthy and safe way to prevent injuries. I have been taking her 4 week fitness challenge for the last 8 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Every 4 week unit is new and fresh, with a variety of exercises and routines. It never feels repetitive and everything is clearly explained and demonstrated.

Each class is a nice balance between strength and aerobic exercises, working on building muscles and stamina, and also adding balance and stretching so you feel that you really work your whole body.

Michele clearly puts a lot of time and effort into planning each routine.  Certain exercises come back regularly which is nice because you feel yourself getting stronger, but there are also always new exercises to keep working your muscles in new and different ways. 

She also pays a lot of personal attention to each student - she gives good advice on making adjustments, she has alternative exercises for people with injuries, and there are always options to make exercises more or less challenging so everyone can work on his or her own level.

She has a great way of motivating you in a way that is gentle and supportive. Things I never thought I would be able to do (a 4 minute plank!) became possible because she encourages you to push yourself just a little bit more every time.

I can highly recommend Michèle’s class. I know I am going to continue to enjoy it!”

"I have been a student of Michele's for four years. She is not only a Pilates instructor or an exercise coach, she is a mentor and a role model.
